kali ini saya ingin sedikit cerita tentang bagaimana urutan kegiatan saat lomba debat.
disini saya mohon maaf karena saya berbagi hanya berdasarkan pengalaman saja, dalam artian saya belum pernah mengikuti debat yang bertaraf internasional. jadi saya berbagi berdasarkan pengalaman saya di lingkungan lokal saja, hal ini bisa kita jadikan peajaran untuk hari kedepannya. mudah-mudahan ilmu kita semakin meluas.

EDUCATION :
- THW revoke UN as student education level qualifier
- THBT public-school headmaster and vices should be directly selected by teacher and student
- THBT government should stop subsidies education institution instead to provide more scholarship
3. PREFERENCE, after get motions they have to prioritize their motions. which motion that have a big chance to winning their team and they have 3 minutes for preference. after that the LO match the result of preference and decide a motion for that debate.

there're some steps for debating competition, are:
- DECIDING POSITION, all debaters gathering with their team and committee's decide teams position for first round of debate. who get as affirmative team and who get as opposition team. and also determine the inter-team partner.
- GETTING MOTION, all participants of debate (debaters) gathering in a room to get their motion. in usual, committee give 3 motion of each sector

4. CASE BUILDING
after get the motion, LO accompany debaters to their room and separate them in a two place for case building, they prepare the argument and testimony. this step spend 20 minutes. when debaters run this step, the LO pick up the adjudicator.
5. DEBATING
this the main event. after case building, all debaters enter the room and occupy their place. in this session, LO open the debate and become time keeper for all speaker, she will give a warn for speaker suitable with time rules
The time rules for speaker :
first warn (knock once) : the speaker was speaking for 1 minute
second warn (knock once) : the speaker was speaking for 6 minutes
third warn (knock twice) : the speaker was speaking for 7 minutes
forth warn (knock continuous) : the speaker was speaking for 7 minutes 20 seconds and must finish their speak.
6. ASSESSMENT
the adjudicator give comments, advices, evaluations to all debaters and decide the winner and the best speaker in this round.
